Class supported by: Mrs Walker (HLTA) Miss Harrison (TA)

 

Mrs Harkness will be teaching the class 3.5 days each week and the remaining time will be covered by Mrs Cannavan, Mrs Walker and Miss Harrison. 

This half term we are studying Jemmy Button and Island a story of The Galapágos in English, South America in Geography and the Evolution and Inheritance in Science. Our RE topic is The Transforming Spirit.

Homework will be given out on a Thursday to be returned the following week. 

Spellings will be given out on a Wednesday and although there will be no formal spelling test, the children will be given many opportunities in school and at home to practise their spellings and to apply new spelling rules to their writing. 

Children are expected to read out loud to an adult and be questioned on the text 4 times a week. This will be recorded in the children's diary and checked every Thursday. 

P.E is on Wednesday and Friday this half term.
