Year 4 Sacramental Preparation 2026

Children in Year 4 are prepared for the Sacraments following the 'With You Always' programme.

Important Dates for 2026

Monday 12th January 2:30pm - parent information meeting - in school.

• Sunday 25th January 9.15am - Welcome Mass followed by Session 1: Called by Name/Baptism - in Church.

  Other session dates are confirmed below (3pm – 4pm in school). Mrs Bold and Mrs Cannavan with the children.

  •Session 2 ‘How do we pray? Our Father’ - Monday 9th Feb

  •Session 3 ‘Forgiveness and Reconciliation’ - Monday 9th March

  •Session 4 ‘The Gift of the Eucharist 1’ - Monday 27th April

  •Session 5 ‘The Gift of the Eucharist 2’ - Monday 18th May

  Family Masses (TBC)

  Sunday 8th March and Sunday 26th April both 9:15am in Church

First Reconciliation Service

Wednesday 18th March 2026 6pm (Church)

First Holy Communion practice – Tuesday 2nd June/Wednesday 3rd June (Church).

First Holy Communion Mass

Saturday 6th June 10am 2026 (Church). Arrive no later than 9:45am.

Light refreshments afterwards

We will explore whether professional photographs of the children can be taken immediately after the Communion Mass.

Celebration Mass and professional photographs (in school) – Monday 29th June

8:30am photos.  Mass 10am
